Film Trailer Falls In Love Like In Films Dominated By Black And White Visuals

JAKARTA - The production house Imajinari launched the first trailer for the film Jatuh Cinta As in Films (JESEDEF) on Thursday, November 2. This film is director Yandy Laurens' latest work after stunning the 2019 film Keluarga Cemara.

This nearly two-minute trailer brings the audience to Bagus (Ringgo Agus Rahman) and Hanna (Nirina Zubir). The two old friends who met again made Bagus interested in pouring their conversation into a film script.

Hanna, who was left by her partner, made Bagus inspired and even wanted to be a special part of Hanna's life. However, the script for the film Bagus got a counter from the people around him because he had not asked Hanna for permission.

On the other hand, Bagus also got the task of making his latest script to producers.

This trailer is dominated by black and white as a sign that the color lost due to grief. However, the story will have various sides ranging from romance to comedy.

"If you look at the trailer, it will describe the color that is lost due to grief, as Hanna felt, the female lead character at JESEDEF. But, not only that, there are other aspects that will be present in this film, including the fresh comedy side which will continue to entertain and make the elements in this film richer," said Yandy Laurens.

As one of the producers, Ernest Prakasa also hopes that this romance film will provide a unique experience, one of which is color use.

"Hopefully, after watching it, you can also get a different and unique experience for viewers in Indonesia, because this film has a unique visual element, namely 80 percent black and white and 20 percent colored," added Ernest Prakasa.

Apart from Ringgo and Nirina, this film also features Sheila Dara, Dion Wiyoko, Alex Abbad, and Julie Estelle.

Meanwhile, the film Jatuh Cinta Seperti di Film-Film (JESEDEF) akan tayang di bioskop Indonesia mulai 30 November 2023.
