Playing Glenn Fredly, Marthino Lio Burdened

JAKARTA - DAMN production house! I Love Indonesia and Adhya Pictures announced the latest production of a biopic entitled Glenn Fredly The Movie. Where actor Marthino Lio is finally trusted to play Glenn Fredly.

In the thanksgiving kick off filming and cast survey, Marthino Lino told how he was originally offered this iconic role. When meeting Daniel Mananta as Executive Chair of DAMN! I Love Indonesia Pictures & Creative Producer, Marthino Lio instead advised others to play this role.

"Initially I really received that I was actually busy filming outside Jakarta and suddenly Daniel called, 'Bro I got something' bla 'Yeah sure' kept quiet for a month. Not long after that, Mas Lukman, 'Lio, Lalala' 'OKah' then I met and then when I met me instead advised another actor, 'How about him? He's good you know'," said Marthino Lio in Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 20.

Not covering up the doubts he felt, Lio felt the burden when he was appointed to play Glenn Fredly for him as an iconic figure. Until finally, after seeing his back trip, he felt that this role was destined for him.

"Because everyone knows that in the world he is a pop icon, there will definitely be a lot of burdens, I know that guy I know him, and it's quite a crowded on me. I don't think I was ready for this responsibility," he continued.

"Then for a long time, it's been like this. Whatever happens, it happens, this has been called for a long time, because the screenplay also calls me, plus when we started going to workshops for a long time, one by one it was open, it turned out that I was a recommendation from the family, 'Hah? Oh ok'. Oh it turns out that your father is Om Bucek. Om Bucek already knows me from like this (still small). Anyway, the road that should be heavy just feels light and I think this is a blessing," he said.
