Faradina Mufti, Reza Rahadian, And Fachri Albar Star In Joko Anwar's New Film, Saksa Kubur

JAKARTA - Director Joko Anwar and production house Come and See Pictures announced the line of players from their latest film, Saksa Kubur. One of the most anticipated horror films presents a row of seasoned actors and actresses to newcomers.

Wednesday, September 13, Come and See Pictures released 20 names along with the latest portraits for Saksa Kubur. They are Faradina Mufti, Reza Rahadian, Fachri Albar, Happy Salma, Widuri Puteri, Muzakki Ramdhan, Slamet Rahardjo, Christine Hakim, Arswendy Bening Swara, and Niniek L. Karim.

In addition, there are Putri Ayudya, Jajang C. Noer, Djenar Maesa Ayu, Haydar Salishz, Runny Rudiyanti, Afrian Arisandy, Ramadhan Al Rasyid, Tony totaling, Mian Tiara, and Henry Manampiring.

Several names have collaborated with Joko Anwar, such as Faradina Mufti and Christine Hakim in the film Perempuan Tanah Hell. In addition, there are several newcomers such as Widuri Puteri who made their acting debut in 2022 and writer Henry Manampiring.

Reza Rahadian as one of the senior actors for the first time worked with Joko Anwar for his latest horror film.

The film Saksa Grave originated in a short film by Joko entitled Grave Torture in 2012. This film will be an exploration of his short film which has received a positive response.

"The story in the long film Sikok Kubur will be related to the story of his short film and the plot and character will be expanded," said Joko Anwar.

The grave ceremony was also carried out by Tia Hasibuan as producer, Jaisal Tanjung as cinematographer, and Allan Sebastian as creative director.

This film marks Joko Anwar's 10th latest work after releasing the Pengabdi Satan 2: Communion which received a box office title with 6.3 million viewers when it premiered in theaters in 2022.

The film Saksa Kubur has entered the production process and is scheduled to air in 2024.
