JAKARTA - The Crown series will end in the sixth season. Netflix revealed this news through a post on X or Twitter that leaked what happened in the last season.

A photo that reads "service of prayer and dedication following the marriage of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall" was shared by Netflix as a marker of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles' wedding to be seen this season.

"After six seasons, seven years and three players, The Crown ended this year," Netflix tweeted.

"We'll be back soon, but there are hints of what happened in the last season," they continued with the photo.

Dominic West will play Charles while Olivia Williams plays Camilla. The plan is that the final season of the British royal series will also show the story of Princess Diana's death in a 1997 accident, played by Elizabeth Debicki.

The relationship between Prince William and Kate Middleton was also presented in this series. The two met while studying at St. Andrews University in Scotland.

Netflix also announced several new actors such as wary Kampa to William at the age of 15, Ed McVey to William in his 20s, and Meg Bellamy to Kate. In addition, there is Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan totaling as Duke of Edinburgh, and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret.
