Sulli F(x)'s Last Interview Will Premiere At The Busan Film Festival

JAKARTA - The last interview of the late Sulli f(x) will premiere at the Busan International Film Festival or BIFF which will be held from 4 to 13 October 2023. This interview is part of a documentary entitled Dear Jinri made by the deceased. Launching JoongAng Daily, this content was originally planned to become Netflix original content with the title Persona Sulli. This content was created in 2019, but the plan was canceled after Sulli died in the same year. Now, the documentary is named Dear Jinri and continues to display the interview content created with the former f(x) member. This documentary is directed by Jung Yoon Suk and will air in the BIFF Documentary Showcase category. This festival will be hosted by actor Song Kang Ho and actor Chow Yun Fat will receive an award for the Asian Filmmaker. Persona Sulli is part of Persona created by five directors. The first part focused on IU and continued with Sulli. However, filming stopped after Sulli died.

Netflix also had time to consider releasing content, but until now, there has been no confirmation regarding the release. The trailer circulating shows several photos of Sulli's childhood which have the real name Choi Jin Ri. The training session with f(x) was also displayed exclusively and several portraits of Sulli smiling at the camera. Then, Sulli in a white shirt was seen sitting and tidying up her appearance before speaking to the camera. The trailer ended with Sulli who was ready and started the interview with, “Hello, I'm Choi Jin Ri.” Born on March 29, 1994, Sulli is a former member of the K-pop group f(x) who is also known for its acting and variety projects. He also released several singles before he died of suicide in October 2019. In addition to this documentary, BIFF also screened 12 Indonesian films in the Renaissance of Indonesia Cinema program, some of which were the Kretek Girl series and the 24-hour film with Gaspar.
