Pulogadung Kayu Putih Residents Reject The Transfer Of RTH Functions To Puskesmas
Residents of Tanah Mas Housing RW 01 Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, refused to transfer the function of the Green Open Space (RTH) into a Puskesmas building.
Head of RW 01 Kayu Putih Mohamad Imson said his party rejected the construction of the Puskesmas in RTH because it could result in reduced lungs of the city and water absorption.
"Actually, residents of RW 01 do not reject the construction of the Puskesmas, but the land that will be used as a Puskesmas has become a green open space zone according to Governor Regulation Number 31 of 2022 concerning the Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR)," said Imson as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.
Residents were disappointed with the decision of the Health Office (Dinkes), which until now still chose the green open space as land for the construction of the Kayu Putih Village Health Center.
Therefore, he suggested that the DKI Jakarta Health Office and the East Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) choose another land belonging to PT. Pulo Mas Jaya to create a Puskesmas because there are still areas owned by this company other than green open space that can be built by the Puskesmas.
"However, currently the kelurahan and sub-districts are still forcing them to build Puskesmas here (RTH) even though in other lands there are bigger ones and not green open space," said Imson.
In fact, local officials broke into the wall of Taman Mas housing which is the location of green open space on Wednesday (15/11).
Residents also put up a banner measuring 3x1 meters at the RTH location which reads "Residents Reject Changes to the Function of Green Open Space".
The Head of Kayu Putih Village, Tuti Sugihastuti, confirmed that his party plans to build a Puskesmas Pulogadung RT 04/RW 01 residential green open space which belongs to PT Pulo Mas Jaya.
The health center will stand on the land with an area of about 750 square meters (m2). The area of land to be built is 750 square meters of the total area of RTH 4,800 square meters," he said.
Regarding the residents' refusal, said Tuti, this is a dynamic that must be resolved in order to accept the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) plan for the construction of the Puskesmas.
"However, God willing, because this is a government program, everyone must support it. Puskesmas is a community need," he said.
An approach to residents will continue to be made so that residents understand that green open space is the land designated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for the construction of health centers.

So far, saiduti, the status of the Kayu Putih Village Health Center building is still contracting and it has been running for about six years.
"The Puskesmas needs to be built because so far the Kayu Putih Village Health Center has been contracting for six years and the conditions are very concerning," said Tuti.
Currently, the construction process is in the drilling stage to measure the depth of the foundation
Tuti has not been able to confirm the construction time will be completed, but is targeted for 2024.
The public hopes that 2024 will be built, because the information from the Health Office for 2024 will no longer have a contract budget. "But we haven't confirmed the month yet. But we hope that the sooner the better in 2024 can be built," he said.
