Starting In 2024, Hyundai Will Be The First Producer To Sell Online On Amazon Platform
Hyundai recently announced a strategic partnership with the leading online sales service from the US, Amazon, bringing with it a new innovative experience in the automotive industry.
Through this partnership, Hyundai vehicles will be accessible through Amazon's online sales platform in the United States, starting in 2024. With the support of cloud services from AWS, this will facilitate digital transformation and enable the integration of Alexa Built-in's experience in the latest Hyundai vehicles in the future.
Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, stated that this partnership opens up new opportunities by expanding the company's portfolio and developing a sales network to realize intelligent future mobility.
"Hyundai became the first automotive company to come with an end-to-end transaction on the Amazon US platform, and this is another example of how we continue to strive to increase customer travel with extraordinary retail partners," Jay said in an official statement from the company, Friday, November 17.

Starting in 2024, car dealers will be able to sell Hyundai vehicles online through Amazon stores in the US. This new digital shopping experience makes it easier for customers to choose and buy new cars online, with the option to pick them up or deliver them to local dealers at the most appropriate time for them.
Customers can browse vehicles available in their region on Amazon based on preferences, such as models, trim, color, and features. They can choose their car of choice, perform online checks with the payment and financing options they choose.
Furthermore, starting in 2025, customers who buy next-generation vehicles from Hyundai will be able to enjoy the Alexa hands-free experience while in the car. Hyundai users can easily control various functions, such as playing music, podcasts, or audiobooks, setting reminders, updating the list of tasks, and checking the calendar freely.
Users can also control their smart home devices from inside the car, including asking to warm the house on the way home, check door security, and set lighting and smart routines through Alexa's system.
