Police Secure One Suspected Perpetrator Of Waria Murder Burned To Death

TANGERANG - Police have arrested a man with the initials W (24) who is suspected of killing a woman-style (warian) RM (33), Thursday morning, November 9.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tangerang Police, Kompol Arief Nazarudin Yusuf, confirmed that the alleged perpetrator had been arrested. According to him, his party is currently investigating the perpetrators.

"Meanwhile, we are still investigating the motive," said Arief when confirmed, Friday, November 10.

Arief also said that to find out the cause of death of the victim, his party was still coordinating with the forensic doctor of the Banten Police.

"We are currently collaborating with a team of forensic doctors from the Banten Police for an autopsy," he concluded.

A man in a female style or commonly called transvestites, with the initials RM was found dead charred on the outskirts of the empang area of Mauk, Tangerang Regency.

Kapolsek Mauk Polresta Tangerang, AKP Kudratullah said his party received a report on Thursday, November 9, during the day.

"He (the victim) is a transgender of Mauk," said Kudratullah when confirmed, Thursday, November 9.
