Former GAM Commander Muzakir Manaf Becomes Head Of Prabowo-Gibran Winning Team In Aceh
BANDA ACEH - The former GAM Commander who is also the Chairman of the Aceh Party DPP Muzakir Manaf alias Mualem was appointed as Chairman of the Aceh Winning Body for the Prabowo-Gibran presidential and vice presidential candidates.
"A support party meeting has been held, and Muzakir Manaf or Mualem has been appointed as Chairman of the Aceh Winning Board," said Aceh Party DPP spokesman Nurzahri, in Banda Aceh, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 3.
Mualem's determination was agreed at a meeting of the Aceh Party with the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB), namely the Gerindra Party, Golkar, PAN, Democrats, PBB, Gelora, PSI, Garuda and the Prima party, in Banda Aceh.
Nurzahri said that so far Mualem had shown an extraordinary commitment in supporting Prabowo and Gibran.
In fact, Prabowo Subianto himself admitted during Prabowo-Gibran's declaration at the Indonesia arena building on October 25, 2023.
"Where, Prabowo gave his special appreciation to Mualem for the presence and support that has been given so far," he said.
Nurzahri said, in 2019 Mualem also stood at the forefront as chairman of Prabowo-Sandi's victory.
"In the 2019 presidential election, Prabowo managed to give an absolute victory of 86 percent of the votes from Aceh," he said.

Mualem expressed his gratitude for the trust of the coalition party which has entrusted him as chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran winning team for Aceh.
"Mualem hopes that all coalition parties can really work seriously, so that the victory that was obtained in 2019 will repeat itself," said Nurzahri.
In addition to determining Mualem as chairman of the Aceh victory, the meeting has also appointed Deputy Speaker of the Aceh DPR from Golkar Teuku Raja Keumangan as secretary, then Gerindra politician Teuku Irsyadi became treasurer of the winning team.
Meanwhile, the position of deputy chairman of the victory is filled by political party leaders in the KIB coalition and deputy secretaries of the coalition party Secretary-General.
