MKMK Examines Deputy Chief Justice Of The Constitutional Court Daniel Yusmic

JAKARTA - The Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) examined Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court Daniel Yusmic Pancastaki Foekh behind closed doors.

Daniel was examined behind closed doors by three members of the MKMK, namely Jimly Asshiddiqie, Wahiduddin Adams, and Bintan R. Saragih.

Reported by ANTARA, Daniel did not provide any information to the media crew. He only waved when entering the elevator to go to the courtroom, Thursday, November 2.

Previously, MKMK Chairman Jimly Asshiddiqie said that if the Constitutional Court judge was proven to have violated the code of ethics, then the MKMK could also be convinced to cancel Case Decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 regarding the change in terms of being a presidential and vice presidential candidate.

"This means that according to the Law on Judicial Power Article 17 paragraph 7, (the case) is held by another Hakim Consultative Meeting (RPH) by different assemblies," said Jimly in Jakarta, Wednesday (1/11).

Previously, Tuesday (31/10) and Wednesday, the Constitutional Court examined six constitutional judges regarding reports of alleged violations of the code of ethics, namely Anwar Usman, Arief Hidayat, Enny Nurbaningsih, Saldi Isra, Manahan Sitompul, and Suhartoyo.
