Climber Dies Stuck In Mount Rinjani's Milk Cave
NTB - A climber with the initials LM (59) from Sukadana Village, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), died of Mount Rinjani National Park (TNGR).
"The victim has arrived at the Senaru Health Center for examination and then carried out the handover of the body from the TNGR to the victim's family," said Head of Central Lombok TNGR Hall Dedy Asriady in Mataram, NTB, Thursday, November 2, confiscated by Antara.
He said the victim was a group of climbers of the gubernatorial election (pilgrim) who rose on Monday, October 30, 2023 through the gate of the Senaru SPTN climbing route Region I TNGR, with a total of 11 participants in the group.
In the climb, the victim was caught in a narrow hole in the Goa Susu area, TNGR. SAR calls were then made to help the victim.
"The evacuation team immediately departed with a total of seven porters and one medical personnel on Wednesday 1 November at 00.28 WITA," he said.

Because the situation was late at night, the team decided to rest at the Nangka Birisan Post and had just continued the evacuation process in the morning at 06.15 WITA and went straight to Goa Susu.
At 11.00 WITA the team arrived at the Goa Susu location and tried to evacuate the victim's body which was caught in a narrow hole in the Goa Susu area. However, they had difficulty getting the bodies out, so they waited for the East Lombok SAR Team to help who had the tools and technical tools to remove the bodies.
"At that time the position of the East Lombok SAR Team was still in Pelawangan Sembalun," he said.
Then at around 17.05 WITA the East Lombok SAR Team arrived at the Goa Susu location and took out the pinched body to be then evacuated to the Torean climbing tourist route door.
"At around 22.35 WITA the team arrived at the Nangka Biisan Post," he said.
