14 Gold Pendulang Trapped In Dekai Mining Still Controlled KKB
JAYAPURA - Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Heru Hidayanto stated that currently there are estimated 14 survivors trapped around gold mining in Kali I, Dekai, the capital of Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains.
Sebelumnya ada laporan sejumlah pendulang hingga kini masih terjebak di sekitar Kali I dan nasibnya belum dapat dipastikan.
"Currently, a joint team is being prepared to evacuate, considering that in the area there are still armed criminal groups (KKB) shooting at members who are evacuating," said Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Heru, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 26.

Most of the trapped repeaters came from locations relatively far from the scene of the initial murder (TKP) carried out by the KKB on Monday (16/10) which killed seven people.
The location of the inauguration can be reached about two hours of travel accompanied by walking.
"Currently, various preparations are being made by a joint team so that the evacuation can be carried out safely," he said.
