Silver Daihatsu Xenia Driver Found Dead In Car, Allegedly Poisoned By Gas Monoxide

JAKARTA - A car driver named Supriadi was found dead suddenly in his car, silver Daihatsu Xenia on Jalan Matraman Raya, Matraman District, East Jakarta, Thursday, October 26. The victim is suspected of being poisoned by gas monoxide.

Members of the Matraman Police who arrived at the scene immediately identified the victim's body. However, the police found no signs of violence on the victim's body.

The victim is suspected of being poisoned by gas monoxide or lack of oxygen while sleeping in the car. From his identity, the victim is known as a resident of Jalan Damai Poncol, Jatiwaringin, Bekasi City.

"Car drivers such as sleeping in a car with the license plate B 1517 KIM. After knocking the victim didn't wake up, it turned out that he died," said Tarom, one of the eyewitnesses to the incident to reporters, Thursday, October 26.

When found, Supriadi was still sitting in the steering chair and wearing a seat belt. Meanwhile, the vehicle engine died and the car window was tightly closed.

"It has been reported to the police. The victim was taken to the RSCM," he said.

Meanwhile, the case is being handled by the Matraman Police.
