2-1 Victory Over Sheffield Becomes MU's Sweet Offering To Release Bobby Charlton's Departure
JAKARTA - Manchester United (MU) won the match over Sheffield United in the 9th week of the 2023/2024 Premier League. The 2-1 victory was also presented by the Red Devils to release the legend, Sir Bobby Charlton.

Seeing the situation on the ground and how fans paid their respects, MU coach Erik Ten Hag appreciated his supporting attitude.
"That (which fans do) is fantastic," Ten Hag was quoted as saying by Sky Sport, Sunday, October 22.
"We have to make our contribution, say goodbye, remember Bobby Charlton because what he did was extraordinary."
"He's amazing on the pitch and off the pitch. We wanted to remember Sir Bobby and I think we did it in a decent way," he continued.

After paying tribute at the start of the match, MU went through the match excitedly. The Red Devils were able to take the lead in the 28th minute when Scott McTominay controlled the ball with his chest and scored a goal into the bottom corner of the net from a distance of 12 meters.
However, this advantage lasted only six minutes as Oli McBurnie scored from the penalty spot for Sheffield. After this draw, Ten Hag made three changes by bringing in Anthony Martial, Alejandro Garnacho and Christian Eriksen to find the winning goal.
The substitution made MU even sharper in chasing victory. A sweet moment was finally created by the execution of Diogo Dalot who fired a hard kick in the 77th minute and resulted in a goal.
The MU's advantage lasted until the long whistle and could not be replied to by the host. Victory belongs to the Red Devils as well as a sweet offering to release Sir Bobby's departure.
