Rebecca Reijman Raises The Spirit Of Feminism Through The Song Rekah Kemayu
JAKARTA - Singer and songwriter Rebecca Reijman released a new single titled Rekah Kemayu.
For the singer who is familiarly called Rebecca, Rekah Kemayu is the second release ahead of the EP which is scheduled to be released in January.
Rekah Kemayu means 'Mekar Rayuan'. This song contains a young woman singing a song for her lover in a sparkling and glamorous voice.
Kental with mystical psychedelic nuances, the intro of the song is filled with guitar distortion combined with Rebecca's dark voice.
This song is about young women who bloom like flowers in life. This song is very feminine, there is an alternative rock feel but there is a pop, as was Rebecca's previous song," Rebecca said in her statement, Friday, October 20.
