Ducati Denies The Issue Of Not Likes To See Jorge Martin MotoGP World Champion 2023
JAKARTA - The unpleasant issue hit the Ducati Lenovo factory team. They are reportedly not happy with Jorge Martin's position as a candidate for MotoGP world champion in 2023.
Currently, Ducati Lenovo, Francesco Bagnaia, has a great chance of becoming the 2023 MotoGP world champion. However, he had to compete fiercely with Pramac Racing rider Jorge Martin.
During the Mandalika MotoGP, Jorge Martin took the top spot in the standings after winning the sprint race. But then Bagnaia was able to regain the position after winning the main MotoGP Mandalika race.
At that time, Martin failed to finish the race because he fell. In fact, he leads away from his rivals.
This moment further strengthens the assumption that Ducati does not want Jorge Martin to come out as world champion. However, this was immediately denied by the CEO, Paolo Ciabatti, who felt the two had healthy competition on track.
"Such discussions bothered me, because as everyone knows, the factory team and Pramac have the same motorbike," said Paolo Ciabatti.
"In Pramac there are seven mechanics Ducati. Pecco (Francescco Bagnaia) and (Jorge) Martin also always have the same renewal. Finally, there is a fork fins."

"If Ducati doesn't want Martin to be able to compete in the hunt for world champions, we will not give the same options as Bagnaia has," Ciabatti said in detail as quoted by GPOne, Tuesday, October 17.
For Ciabbati, this issue actually arises because there are people who are unfair and do not like healthy competition. Because for Ciabatti herself, she never felt that Ducati was blocking Jorge Martin's efforts to compete for the title.
"People who think Ducati doesn't want Jorge to fight for world champions who are actually unfair. Because the manufacturer has four racers who have signed contracts and paid them to win," said Ciabatti firmly.
