Zaskia Gotik's Husband Is Suspected Of Participating In Enjoying Corruption Money For The Construction Of The Kingmi Mile Church

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that the husband of the dangdut singer Zaskia Gotik, Sirajudin Machmud, is also enjoying the flow of corruption money for the construction of the Kingmi Mile 32 Church in Mimika, Papua.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said this allegation was investigated by investigators while examining Sirajudin as a witness on Monday, October 16 yesterday. He was questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Witnesses were present and their knowledge was investigated, among others, related to the alleged flow of money from one of the suspects for the personal needs of witnesses," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, October 17.

Ali has not yet detailed the money that Sirajudin enjoyed. However, it is suspected that the receipts made came from the tricks that occurred during the construction of the house of worship.

Previously reported, Sirajudin was summoned on October 9. However, he was absent without information from the investigators so that a reschedule was carried out.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission named four new suspects in this case. They are Budiyanto Wijaya (BW) who is a private party; Director of PT Dharma Winaga, Arif Yahya (AY); Head of Branch of PT Satria Cresindo Prima, Gustaf Urbanus Patandian (GUP); and Civil Servant Mimika Regency Government Totok Suharto (TS).

The four of them became suspects because they were suspected of having earned personal gain of Rp. 3.5 billion. The KPK also said that their actions caused state losses of Rp. 11.7 billion.

The determination of this suspect is a development of the case that ensnared Mimika Regent Eltinus Omaleng. However, the head of this area was finally acquitted by the Makassar District Court and the KPK filed an appeal to the Supreme Court.
