JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team lost with a score of 0-3 from Mainz U-19 in the fifth test match during a training camp in Germany to prepare for the U-17 World Cup, Saturday (14/10).

Entering the second half, the U-17 national team conceded a quick goal in the 47th minute through an accurate kick from the opponent. Score 3-0 to the advantage of the opposing team.

After that, the U-17 national team showed a quick response that released several attacks from various sides at the direction of the coach. However, repeatedly still failed.

This defeat was the third suffered by the U-17 national team in a trial match during a training camp in Germany to prepare for the 2023 U-17 World Cup. Previously, the U-17 national team lost 0-1 to TSV Meerbusch U-17 and was defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt U-19 with a score of 0-3.

While the other two matches ended with a win, namely winning 1-0 against SC Paderborn U-17 and U-19 and 2-1 when defeating VFL Osnabruerck U-19.

"We have to evaluate and be even better, because the opponent is above us but that is not an excuse for us. We have to train and work even better," he concluded.
