Jokowi: People Need Leaders Not Talk Much

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated that Indonesia needs a leader who doesn't talk much. However, continue to work tirelessly for the nation and state.

He made this statement when giving a speech at the Projo National Working Meeting, at the Bung Karno Gelora Arena, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, October 14.

"Once again, people need leaders who don't talk much, but have a lot of work. Those who want to work for their people, who want to work for their nation, who want to work for their country," said Jokowi.

In addition, Indonesian leaders must also have great courage in the face of pressure from other countries.

The character or personality must be possessed by a leader because Indonesia will face enormous challenges.

"Those who don't give up easily, just press down, just press down, don't. We need once again a leader who has great guts, because the challenges we face are more complex and remember, remember, our leader, our President, has a responsibility to carry a large Indonesian ship whose population is already 278 million," he explained.

Therefore, the public is asked to be more selective in choosing a leader. The goal, only one, Indonesia, continues to develop and is better.

"People once again, they must be careful in choosing leaders who will face the challenges that I conveyed earlier," said Jokowi.
