Vice President: Government Partner Entrepreneurs Build Economy
JAYAPURA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said entrepreneurs are partners of the government in building the economy and improving people's welfare.
"The presence of entrepreneurs is very important to improve the welfare of the community, for that we visit Papua to hear directly the complaints they face," said the Vice President, after a meeting with businessmen in Papua, at the office of the Governor of Papua, Jayapura, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 10.
According to Ma'ruf, during a visit to Papua, his party listened to proposals from various religious leaders and human rights activists (HAM), so that in the future there will be appropriate efforts to resolve problems that occur in the area.
"Earlier, we had a meeting with human rights activists to discuss the security issues that occurred in Papua so that what steps will be taken by the government to overcome them," said the Vice President.
Ma'ruf Amin explained that his party also held coordination meetings related to the acceleration of facilities and infrastructure, especially in the four new autonomous regions (DOB) and also discussed problems faced by local governments.

"And also in order to make the wheels of government effective through the appointment of high school graduates teachers with certain conditions and to improve the quality of education," he said.
The vice president said that after a meeting was held with religious leaders, human rights activists and also governor officials in the DOB, problems in Papua could be resolved properly.
"So that if in the future there are difficulties, then we together look for solutions," said the Vice President.
