JK Denies Joining The Ganjar Pranowo Winning Team
JAKARTA - Former Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) denied the possibility that he would join the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo. "Unfortunately, how could it be," said Jusuf Kalla after a meeting at PMI Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 10. JK explained that he was no longer directly involved in the political stage. However, he continued to discuss with presidential candidates to other high-ranking political parties, in order to maintain the integrity of the country. "Why do I speak, both Anies, Puan, Prabowo, even with Prabowo, I have longer discussions with his team. We discussed how politics does not divide the nation," explained JK.

Previously, the issue of joining JK into the TPN would be PDI-P presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo blowing after the meeting of PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani with JK some time ago. Ganjar himself also said he was happy if JK wanted to join his team. Because, in Ganjar's eyes, JK is a senior political figure full of experience, so JK's input is needed to build the country.
