Palestine Urges The World To Stop Israeli Attacks On Medical Staff
Palestinian Health Minister Mai Alkaila urged the international community to take immediate action to stop Israeli attacks on health centers, ambulances and medics in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Alkaila accused Israel of deliberately bombing hospitals and ambulances, as well as killing and wounding medics. He called the act a major and real violation of all international laws and conventions, according to a WAFA Palestinian news agency report reported by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.
The WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli warship on Monday attacked an ambulance that destroyed in northwest Gaza. As a result, a number of officers and patients on board were injured.
Not only that, Israeli warplanes also attacked buildings, houses, and refugee camps in Gaza, which left dozens dead and injured.

Israeli fighter jets bombed the Mata International Hospital in the Tal al-Hawa area and houses in a number of areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving dozens dead and injured.
They also fired hundreds of bullets and rockets towards the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, which caused heavy damage to the target area.
Meanwhile Reuters reported that Israel had summoned about 300 thousand reserve troops and warned residents of the Gaza Strip to leave the region.
Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Monday (9/10) announced Israel would carry out a total blockade in the Gaza Strip to close food and fuel supplies.
The blockade was carried out in response to a Hamas rocket attack on Israeli territory, which has killed about 700 Israelis.
