Project Expelled From PSN, Coordinating Minister Airlangga Reveals The Reason
YOGYAKARTA - Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto revealed that several development projects were stopped from the National Strategic Project (PSN). Projects dropped from PSN starting from ports, toll road construction, to industrial areas.
The government has decided to stop several projects from the PSN list. These projects were stopped due to a number of factors, ranging from the budget that had not yet existed until the work had not started. So which projects have been dropped from PSN by the Indonesian government?
The decision to stop a number of ASN projects because they have not received funds and the project has not been executed. While attending a meeting on PSN at the Presidential Palace, Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto directly revealed the cause of the project being stopped.
"There are several projects that have been stopped because they have not started and no (budget) has been issued (from) the state budget," said Airlangga on Thursday (5/10).
The following are a number of projects that have finally been stopped by the government from PSN, ranging from toll roads, ports, and industrial areas:
One of the projects removed from the PSN list is the Ambon New Port project or the new Ambon Port. This project is planned to be carried out starting at the end of 2021 or early 2022, but until now it has not been implemented.
The next project that was removed from the PSN list was the Tanggamus Industrial Estate project, Lampung. Based on the official website of the Priority Infrastructure Provision Acceleration Committee (KPPIP), the construction of this project is planned to start in 2018. However, until now the status of the project is still in the preparation stage.
The government has also stopped the Sidan Dam Raw Water Supply System project, Bali. This project was previously planned to be built with funding sources from the APBN and APBD, requiring an investment fee of IDR 421 billion.
The government also removed the Langsa-Lhokseumawe Toll Road project from PSN. The work on this project should have started in 2018 and is planned to operate in 2023. The Lhokseumawe-Sigli Toll Road project was also expelled from the PSN list. In addition, the government also crossed out the Dumai-Sp Toll Road project. Sigambal-Rantau Prapat.
As a result of the removal of the toll road project from PSN, a number of inter-provincial roads failed to be connected to the trans-Sumatran toll road, starting from Medan to the new week, Aceh to Medan, Palembang to Palembang.
There are also several projects related to the construction of drinking water supply systems (SPAM) which were dropped from the PSN list. The stopped SPAM projects are SPAM Jatigede, SPAM Juanda, and SPAM Kamijoro.
In 2023, there were 170 PSN projects with an investment value of IDR 1,299.41 trillion. Of the entire PSN project, 61 projects are in the construction stage. As of October 4, 2023, there are 17 projects that have an investment value of IDR 259.41 trillion, namely ports and toll roads.
Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto said the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project had been completed, with a value of IDR 125.7 trillion. Meanwhile, the LRT project has a value of IDR 29.9 trillion.
In addition, there are still several projects that have not been inaugurated and 16 projects will be completed with a value of IDR 179.46 trillion. The projects include several dams, port toll roads in Likupang, Makassar Newport, LNG Train 3 in West Papua, and multifunctional satellite projects.
Coordinating Minister Airlangga also revealed that there are 25 projects that will be completed until October 20, 2024, with a value of IDR 151.58 trillion.
Then between October 20 and December 2024, there are still 12 projects with a value of IDR 23.45 trillion. In addition, there are also 42 PSN whose construction is already running or partially operational, targeted for completion by 2024 with a project value of IDR 1.427.36 trillion.
