Today, the Police Will Name a New Suspect in the Miss Universe Indonesia Harassment Case
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police (Polda) will again carry out a case against alleged sexual harassment by the Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 pageant committee, today. Hold a case to determine other suspects.
"Yes, we will continue to hold another title for another suspect," said Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi in his statement quoted Thursday, October 5.
It is possible that the party that will be named as the new suspect is a corporation. Because, said Hengki, the investigative team is still completing the formal and material elements related to the alleged criminal offense.
"We are still completing formal and material requirements related to corporate-related offenses," said Hengki.
Polda Metro Jaya had originally named one suspect with the initials ASD. This determination was based on the results of a case study conducted by investigators from the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday, October 4.
This determination is said to be based on strong evidence. Where investigators have collected information from 28 witnesses and experts.
"Consisting of 8 victims, 13 witnesses, 3 reported parties and 4 expert witnesses," said Hengki.
It was later discovered that the suspect ASD alias S was the COO of Miss Universe Indonesia.
The identity of the suspect was revealed based on the statement by Mellisa Anggraeni as the attorney for the Miss Universe Indonesia finalist who was the victim. It is said that the suspect's name is Sarah or ASD alias S.

However, the role of ASD alias S in this case is not yet known, so he was named a suspect. It is suspected that he carried out body examinations and photographed the bodies of the victims.
