30 Thousand Chickens Ready To Harvest At The Padang Pariaman Broiler's Cage, Dead, Losses Reaches IDR 4 Billion

Losses due to a broiler's chicken coop fire in Nagari Kuranji Hulu, Sungai Geringging District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra, which occurred at 06.30 WIB, reached billions of rupiah."The loss is estimated at around Rp. 4 billion. Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is suspected to be due to an electrical short," said Sungai Geringging Police Chief Iptu Bambang Adrian in Sungai Garinggiang, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, October 3.The allegation was based on the testimony of the witness who was passing by to the river and saw an electric spark grabbing in the middle of the cage which was accompanied by an eruption.This was reinforced by the chicken coop keeper who woke up to hear the sound of an eruption.After the eruption, he said, the fire spread rapidly to other parts of the cage, which occurred because the building materials were made of flammable wood.There were no human casualties. It is estimated that 30 thousand chickens are ready to harvest burned."The information is that the chicken will be harvested in about a few days," he said.At least four firefighters from Padang Pariaman Regency, Agam Regency, and Pariaman City were deployed to extinguish the fire and the location cooling process.It is known that the cooling process lasted until around 10.30 WIB, which then firefighters left the location.After the process of cooling the location is complete, the local police will install a police line to prevent unauthorized parties from entering the area.
