PWI Jaya, Serious Preparation Towards The PWI Congress In Bandung
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Congress which is highly anticipated will soon be held on September 25-26 in Bandung, West Java. The XXV PWI Congress in 2023 is a historic opportunity to establish the management of the Central PWI for the period 2023-2028.
The XXV PWI 2023 Congress will be held at the EL Hotel, which is located on Jalan Braga, and is expected to be attended by hundreds of participants, observers, and jostrants representing all parts of Indonesia.
The congress participants will consist of chairmen, secretaries, and chairmen of the Provincial Honorary Council (DKP) from 35 PWI throughout the country. However, four new PWI in Papua, namely PWI South Papua, PWI Papua Mountains, PWI Central Papua, and PWI Southwest Papua, do not yet have voting rights in the election.
Meanwhile, the observers will come from the Daily Executive of PWI from each province who is not a participant in the congress. Each Provincial PWI can send up to 5 observers.
The congress participants from PWI Jaya consist of Sayid Iskandarsyah (chairman), Kesit Budi Handoyo (secretary), and Diapari Sibatangkaya (DKP), who will be represented by 5 observers, namely Iqbal Irsyad, Budi Nugraha, Irmanto, Naek Pangaribuan, and Amy Atmanto.
Three members of the daily management of PWI Jaya, namely Arman Suparman, Cak Herry Sarsongko Ludiro, and Kadirah, will still fulfill their duties in Bandung. Another member of the daily board, Tb. Adhi, will carry out the mandate as deputy secretary in the central committee of the XXV PWI Congress in 2023.

In his participation in the 2023 PWI XXV Congress, PWI Jaya has chosen to cooperate with Prema Jaya Textile and Tailors, a provider of high-quality clothing materials owned by Danny Delip Kumar, a young textile entrepreneur. Clothing materials from Prema Jaya Textile will be used at the congress opening ceremony which took place on Monday, September 25.
Amy Atmanto, Deputy Chairperson of PWI Jaya for Inter-Institutional Relations and former presenter of the RCTI Palace who is also known as a leading designer in Indonesia, spoke about the selection of high-quality materials and designs for PWI Jaya administrators who will attend the PWI Congress in Bandung on September 13.
