The TNBTS Center has closed the national park area in total since September 10, 2023 at 19.00 WIB until a time limit that has not yet been determined for the smoothness of the blackout process. The closure of access is enforced for all entrances, namely Trisula trials in Malang Regency, Wonoktri in Pasuruan Regency, Cemorphawang in Probolinggo Regency, and Senduro in Lumajang Regency. "Access is only opened for the people of Ranupani Village in Lumajang Regency and Ngadas Village community in Malang Regency," said Head of the Business Administration Section of TNBTS Septi Eka Wardhani.

He explained that people who will cross the Malang-Lumajang-Malang route through Poncokusumo in Malang and Senduro Regencies in Lumajang Regency are advised to find alternative routes.
