Three Perpetrators Of Beating Ministry Of Law And Human Rights Employees Detained By Police

Samarinda Police Chief Kombes Ary Fadli said his party detained three perpetrators of the beating of an employee of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) with the initials KV (38) at the Perindo Party Secretariat Samarinda some time ago.

"The motive was because his family had problems with the victim, because the perpetrator's family claimed to be harassed by the victim," said Ary Fadli in Samarinda as reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 11.

He explained that the three perpetrators detained were residents of Samarinda who had no relationship with the Perindo Party.

"If you look at the CCTV, they ganged up with batons," said Ary Fadli.

For his actions, the perpetrator is subject to Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning Beating with a maximum penalty of 5 years and 6 months in prison.

According to Ary Fadli, this case began when KV, who was at the secretariat office of the Perindo Party DPW, Air Hitam Urban Village, Samarinda.

At the scene, initially KV was beaten by three unidentified men, Monday afternoon (4/9).

"Because KV and the three perpetrators of the beating were not part of the cadres and their problems had nothing to do with Perindo. As a result, the secretariat management who knew about the riots expelled them outside," said Ary Fadli.

However, unexpectedly outside the Perindo Party's DPW headquarters, KV was actually beaten by dozens of unknown people who had been waiting outside.

The perpetrators who came using several cars fled before personnel from the Beat 110 Patrol Unit of the Samarinda Police and Samarinda Ulu Police arrived at the crime scene (TKP).

"The team then helped evacuate KV to the SMC Hospital," said Ary Fadli.

Meanwhile, KV, who was the victim of the beating, said that the motive for the beating began from the previous day, when he was on the highway he was acting on the car in front of the car he was driving, then there was an argument.
