The West Coast Police have arrested a perpetrator of sexual abuse of a minor with the initials BR (55) against the victim with the initials AA (7) in Pekon (Village) Parda Suka, Ngaras District, West Coast Regency, Lampung.Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Coast Police, Iptu Riki Nopariansyah, said the perpetrator committed his actions by forcing and threatening the victim to hit him.The perpetrator's actions were revealed after the victim's family reported the perpetrator's actions to the local police.Based on the report, his party immediately moved quickly to find and arrest the perpetrators."The West Coast Police Satreskrim arrested the perpetrators of the sexual intercourse case with a minor at Pekon Parda Suka, Ngaras District on Saturday, September 9 at around 17.00 WIB," he said in Krui, quoted from Antara, Monday, September 11.The rape was carried out by BR on Thursday, August 8 at around 18.00 WIB, behind the Baitul Haq Mosque, Sukarame Hamlet, Pekon Way Jambu, Pesisir Selatan District."The victim was playing with his 8-year-old friend behind the mosque, then a man immediately pulled the victim, so his friend ran away, then the victim was pulled beside the mosque and immediately covered his mouth with his hands and the perpetrator immediately committed obscene acts against the victim," he said.After the perpetrator committed sexual immorality, the victim was threatened with saying"Don't talk about it, I'll slap you later, if someone asks if they fall from the foundation," he said while hitting the victim in the face.The perpetrator left the victim by going towards Pekon Marang, and the victim met his older brother at the mosque and informed him of the injuries to his vital organs. The victim was escorted home by his older brother and his friend."Evidence of instructions for one visum et repertum sheet, one child's underwear, one strand of clothes and sheets of psychological examination and counseling," he said again.
As a result of his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 81 in conjunction with Article 76D and or Article 82 in conjunction with Article 76E of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2016 concerning Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection into law with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
