India Successfully Leads The G20 Over Geopolitical Fragmentation, Sri Mulyani Congratulates
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the G20 Summit agenda in New Delhi, India has been officially closed and the handover of the Brazilian G20 Presidency from Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi to Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
In his statement, the Minister of Finance congratulated PM Narendra Modi on the entire G20 Summit and the G20 Presidency of India which gave birth to the G20 Leaders Declaration.
"The highly fragmented geopolitical conditions and the increasingly thin and fragile cooperation between the G20s provide a very dominant color in various discussions of problems that threaten the world," he said in a written message today, Monday, September 11.
According to the Minister of Finance, the current global dynamics is colored by the turmoil in food and energy prices, the weakening of the global economy, climate change, health cooperation in dealing with the pandemic, to the development of digital technology and artificial intelligence.

"All these challenges actually have the potential to be disrupted on issues of security and world peace," he said.
The Minister of Finance said that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that the world was not in good condition.
