Knock! Commission XI Approves The 2024 Budget Ceiling Of Its Ministry Sri Mulyani
JAKARTA - Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives approved the Ministry of Finance's budget for the 2024 fiscal year of IDR 48.35 trillion.
"Commission XI approved the Ministry of Finance's budget ceiling in the 2024 Fiscal Year RAPBN after the shift in the inter-program budget ceiling of Rp. 48,353,424,381,000," said Chairman of Commission XI Kahar Muzakir in a Working Meeting with the Ministry of Finance, Monday 4 September.
Previously in the meeting, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani detailed that the budget was divided into three functions, namely the function of public services, amounting to Rp44.68 trillion, the economic function of Rp232.54 billion and the function of education of Rp3.43 trillion.
For public services, the Rp44.68 trillion fund is divided into 5 programs, namely the FISKAL Policy Program worth Rp53.10 billion, state revenue management Rp2.48 trillion, state expenditure management Rp37.59 billion, state wealth treasury management and risk Rp306 billion and management support of Rp45.47 trillion.
"The 2024 budget ceiling that we convey to the DPR is the same, so there is no change with last June, which amounted to Rp48.35 billion," said Sri Mulyani.

Sri Mulyani detailed that the budget ceiling came from four sources of funds, including Rupiah Murni amounting to Rp38.9 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) Rp21.76 billion, foreign grants (HLN) worth Rp1.12 billion and BLU Rp 9.42 trillion.
At the end of the meeting, Sri Mulyani also promised to use and optimize the budget ceiling that has been approved by Commission XI in order to carry out the duties of the Ministry of Finance in 2024 which will be very challenging and dynamic.
"So we ask for support. We accept the action for today's support and approval," concluded Sri Mulyani.
