24 Players Will Strengthen The Indonesian National Team On FIFA Matchday Against Turkmenistan
JAKARTA The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, officially summoned as many as 24 players for the FIFA Matchday match against Turkmenistan, September 8.
Indonesia is scheduled to play the FIFA Matchday match against Turkmenistan at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya, East Java. All players who are called will gather on September 4.
In this summons list, the Korean coach still includes names who take part abroad.
Among them are Asnawi Mangkualam (Jeongnam Dragons), Sandy Walsh (KV Mechelen), Jordi Amat (Johor Darul Ta'zim), Shayne Pattynama (Viking FK), and Saddil Ramdani (Sabah FC).
In addition, there were also a number of debutants who were also called. The players in question are Wahyu Prasetyo (PSIS), Ryan Kurnia (Persib), and Aji Kusuma (Persija).
Wahyu Prasetyo said he was grateful for this summons. He promised to take advantage of this summons to process better in his career.
"Being grateful and very happy with my first summons in the Indonesian national team," said the PSIS player as quoted by the federation website.
"I myself will take as much knowledge as possible and try my best in training and compete when given the opportunity by the coach," he added.
Persib Bandung is the contributor to the most players on this occasion, namely 4 players. Then followed by Borneo FC, PSM Makassar, and Persikabo, each of which contributed 3 players.
