Ketum Hanura Calls The Fat Coalition In Prabowo Kubu Not A Win Guarantee

JAKARTA - Chairman of the People's Conscience Party (Hanura), Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) commented on the fat coalition supporting the presidential candidate (candidate) Prabowo Subianto.

According to him, the number of political parties (political parties) in a coalition is not a guarantee to win in the 2024 presidential election.

It is known that Prabowo Subianto has received support from four parliamentary parties and one non-parliamentary party. Namely, Gerindra, Golkar, PAN, PKB, and PBB.

"It (the coalition, red) is just fat, the thin ones can win," said OSO after a visit to PDIP in Jakarta, Monday, August 28.

OSO then brought up how Joko Widodo (Jokowi) could win twice in the presidential election. Whereas in the 2014 presidential election, Jokowi was only supported by PDIP, PKB, Hanura, and PKPI.

OSO also uses the term Jokowi's thin posture but can win twice the fight. "Jokowi is thin, not fat but can win. That's an example," he said.

Therefore, OSO said, the number of supporting political parties in one coalition is not a guarantee that they will win the presidential election. Because, according to him, the winner is millennials, which currently have a percentage of voters reaching 67 percent.

"So it's not a guarantee to be fat and thin, the guarantee is that in millennials, young people, women and young men, that's the guarantee. Who holds young people, that's how strong they are," said OSO.
