The Release Of The Ngaliyan Semarang Toll Exit Land Increases To 6 Hectares
Semarang - Mayor of Semarang Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu said the area of land to be acquired for the Ngaliyan Toll Exit project, Semarang, increased so that the completion was confirmed to be slightly delayed.
"The land acquisition, which was (originally) 4,000 square meters, has changed to 6 hectares so that a larger budget for acquisition is needed," said Ita, Hevearita's nickname, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 23.
According to him, the leadership of PT Jasamarga Semarang-Batang has met with the Semarang City Government to discuss the design of the Ngaliyan Toll Exit which has changed according to conditions at the location.
"Considering that there (Ngaliyan, ed.) traffic is already denser, so it requires an 'exit' or longer route. Maybe this is a bit delayed due to land acquisition," he said.
Although the settlement was delayed, Ita admitted that there was no problem because in design it was better and made it easier for the public to access road users to exit and exit through the Semarang-Batang toll road.
The Mayor of Semarang said land acquisition for the Ngaliyan Toll Exit according to the new design will be budgeted in early 2024, but it doesn't matter because everything is for better results.
"Later it will be parallel. Part of the land for the Semarang City Government. We don't have a problem, what kind of rules will we be ready to support," he said.

The existence of the Ngaliyan Toll Exit, he said, is very strategic to support economic activities around the area, especially in industrial areas in Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB).
"From the design we see it to be more okay. Add a long time to 'exit' and 'in-out' to Semarang City. We are ready to support it to make traffic easier to reduce accidents," he said.
In addition, he said, the existence of the Ngaliyan Toll Exit is also expected to reduce accidents because many trucks enter and out of industrial areas in BSB.
"We will support PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang because in early 2024 a 'groundbreaking' will be held," concluded Ita.
The construction of the Ngaliyan Toll Exit also has an impact on public facilities, such as the State's 16 Semarang Junior High School (SMP) whose land is included in the development design.
However, currently there is a replacement building that has just been completed which is not too far away, and is planned to be relocated this year.
