Don't Want To Unload Domestic Violence Cases, Ferry Irawan Chooses Silence
JAKARTA - Ferry Irawan was released on August 17 last week, after serving seven months in detention due to being found guilty of domestic violence (KDRT) committed against Venna Melinda.
When asked about the case that made him have to be imprisoned and divorced from Venna Melinda, Ferry chose not to comment much. He did not want to tell what happened at one of the hotels in Kediri.
"I'd rather remain silent," said Ferry Irawan to the media crew in Tendean, South Jakarta on Monday, August 21.
Ferry still feels he has never taken any alleged actions against him. Currently, he prefers to look to the future to reorganize his life and career.
"What I can say is that I have never done one act that I have been accused of. The rest, maybe Jeffry as my attorney explained," said Ferry Irawan.
First, I want to calm down, focus on my family. Then second, what is certain is that I want to take care of my life first, also focus on career, focus on work and organize a better life," he continued.
Jeffry Simatupang as the attorney also agreed with what was conveyed by Ferry Irawan. According to him, the client has never committed a serious domestic violence.
"After the court's decision is clear in point one and second in the verdict, it is stated that Bang Ferry is not legally and convincingly proven to have committed a serious act of domestic violence," said Jeffry Simatupang.

He also believes that Ferry Irawan's image in the eyes of the public will improve again over time. He hopes that his client can return to work in the entertainment world.
"Just let the answer time be, we'll just have to wait, let the time go on. I'm sure Mr. Ferry will return to society and be well received with the new works," said Jeffry.
"For that problem (KDRT), Pak Ferry has buried it deeply. Once again, a person does not become low because of being insulted, a person does not become tall because he is praised," concluded Ferry Irawan's attorney.
