Candidates For Supreme Court Justices And Ad Hoc HAM Undergo Health-Personal Selection

JAKARTA - As many as 34 candidates for Supreme Court justices and six candidates for judges for hoaxes at the Supreme Court underwent the third phase of selection, namely health and personality selection.

The prospective judges first underwent a medical and psychiatric examination from Wednesday (9/8) to Thursday (10/8) at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Jakarta.

Then the participants underwent an online competency and personality assessment on August 21'28, 2023.

The Head of the Recruitment Division of the Judicial Commission, M. Taufiq HZ, said that in this third stage of the selection, the participants underwent a personality selection which included competency and personality assessments, track records, and input from the public.

"This assessment will measure the competence of candidates consisting of the competency group of integrity, mental, interpersonal, and organizational management, technical and judicial processes, as well as statesmanship," he explained as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 21.

The participants will be tested by assessors with a psychologist background and substantive assessors who are Supreme Court justices or former Supreme Court justices.

KY appealed to the public to provide information or opinions regarding the track records of prospective judges. The public can participate no later than August 31, 2023.

"KY hopes that people with clear identities can provide information or written opinions about track records related to integrity, capacity, behavior and character of candidates for Supreme Court justices and prospective judges at the Supreme Court," added Taufiq.

Taufiq explained, the public can convey this information via email or recruitment email @komisiyudisial.go.id or sent to Jl. Kramat Raya Number 57, Central Jakarta 10450.

"This information is useful so that in the selection process we really find Supreme Court justices and hoctam judges in the best Supreme Court," KY ordered.
