A Total Of 1,800 Security Personnel Deployed In The Context Of Red And White Flag Lowering Ceremony
JAKARTA - The Red and White flag lowering ceremony which was held at the State Palace this afternoon involved as many as 1,800 personnel deployed for security.
"We are 1,800 personnel, we will be on duty until all the series is complete in Central Jakarta," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin to reporters, Thursday, August 17.
For the traffic flow engineering scheme, it is said to be situational. This means that the diversion of motorized vehicle lanes will see the conditions and situations.
Originally, during the Red and White flag-raising ceremony, a number of roads in the State Palace area were temporarily closed.
"We will see the flow of time or the invitations that come," he said.
Several parking bags for invited guests have been prepared, from the Supreme Court to the Merdeka Selatan area.
"For invited guests who received invitations in the eastern tribune, parking bags have been prepared starting from the front of the Supreme Court to the Indonesian Army Headquarters, then Istiqlal, around the Banteng Field," he said.

Meanwhile, the Red and White flag lowering ceremony was held at 17.00 WIB in the courtyard of the State Palace, Jakarta.
