Freeport-McMoRan Investigate Cybersecurity Incidents That Affect Information Systems
JAKARTA - Freeport-McMoRan Inc announced on Friday 11 August that it was investigating a cybersecurity incident affecting the copper mining company's information system.
The company's shares fell 1.6% to 41.69 US dollars (Rp629 thousand).
The company said the impact of this incident was still limited and warned that prolonged disruption could affect future operations.
"Temporary breaking is being planned and implemented to secure the information system as soon as possible," the company added.
