Three New Suspects Alleged Corruption Of PDAM Makassar Will Soon Be Tried
Three new suspects in the alleged corruption case in the use of funds from the Makassar City Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) for bonus payments and bonuses or production services in 2017-2019 as well as the insurance premium for the 2016-2019 vice mayor and deputy mayor of Makassar, will soon undergo trial.
"The Public Prosecutor's Team of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office and the Makassar Public Prosecutor's Team in the near future will immediately transfer the cases of suspects HA, TP and AA to the Makassar District Court Corruption Court," said Head of the Information and Law Section of the South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office (Sulsel) Soertami in Makassar as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 10.
The three suspects submitted by the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office Pidsus Investigators to the Public Prosecutors were HA (Hamzah Ahmad), the former President Director of PDAM Makassar for 2018 and 2019 profits.
Furthermore, TP (Tito Paranoan) former Acting Director of PDAM Finance in 2019, for 2018 Profit. And AA (Asdar Ali) former Director of PDAM Finance in 2020 and serving as Director of PDAM Engineering in 2020 for 2019 profit.
Meanwhile, the case files for the three suspects have been transferred to the Special Crime Investigation Team (Pidsus) of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office at the Makassar Class I Prison and handed over responsibility to the suspect and evidence to the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Team and the Makassar Kejari Public Prosecutor's Team for trial.
In the case file, it was revealed that a series of actions of HA, TP and AA suspects were suspected of having caused irregularities in the use of profits for the distribution of bonuses and bonuses/production services as well as the mandatory insurance premium for the mayor and deputy mayor of Makassar.
