Police Suspect Findings At The Central Beta Revitalization Project Of Yogyakarta Keraton Old Framework

Yogyakarta City Resort Police (Polres) investigated the findings of a skeleton suspected of being a human skull in the Beteng Keraton Revitalization Project area of Yogyakarta City.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Yogyakarta Police, AKP Timbul Sasana Raharja, said that based on the level of fragility of the human skeleton found by residents on Monday, August 7, it is estimated that it is an old framework.

"It was shaking, as soon as it was lifted," said Timbul when contacted in Yogyakarta, Thursday, August 10, was confiscated by Antara.

However, Timbul has not been able to mention the part of the skeleton that is known to experience this fragility.

He added that at the location where the skeleton was found, it was also found the horse skeleton. "The information combines the horse skeleton," he added.

Currently, the police are still conducting investigations so they cannot provide information regarding the identity or background of the human skeleton that has been taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Yogyakarta.

Timbul said that until now no residents have reported the loss of their family members. "Until now there has been no (reporting the loss of family members)," he said.

The skeleton suspected of being a human skull was found at the location of the Beteng Keraton Revitalization Project, precisely on Jalan Suryomentaraman Wetan No. 47 Panembahan, Keraton District, Yogyakarta, on Monday 7 August afternoon.

Based on the official broadcast of the Yogyakarta Police, the discovery was first reported by Erwin Arya Rahmadhan (25), a resident of Suryoputran, the addition of the Yogyakarta Palace.

Erwin initially saw uploads on social media regarding the discovery of a suspected human skull at the Beteng Keraton Revitalization Project excavation site.

Not wanting to ignore this information, Erwin went straight to the Beteng Keraton Project excavation site to confirm the truth of the findings.

When he arrived at the location, he confirmed the skeleton suspected of being a human skull and then reported it to the Keraton Police.

The Yogyakarta Police Inafis and Criminal Investigation Team then conducted a crime scene (TKP) to collect evidence and information.

Furthermore, the skeleton was immediately taken to Bhayangkara Hospital for further examination.
