Satpol PP Affirms Participants In The 2024 Election Don't Install GOODs Banners In Semarang
The Semarang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has asked prospective legislative members (bacaleg) not to put up and post banners carelessly, especially on protocol roads.
"There have been many, we have disciplined (Babileg guide, ed.), both 2x4 meters and 1x5 meters," said Semarang City Satpol PP Head Fajar Purwoto in Semarang, Central Java (Central Java), Thursday, August 3, confiscated by Antara.
He said the control of the bahaleg banner was carried out because it was installed carelessly at the points of prohibition regulated in regional regulations, namely along the protocol road.
"Because so far they have been installed so that this city becomes uncomfortable. Every day, we order members to lower billboards and banners with pictures of balaleg," he said.
According to him, Bacaleg can first coordinate with the General Election Commission (KPU) and the Semarang City Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) regarding the points for placing banners.
In addition, he said, he must coordinate with the Satpol PP and the National Unity and Political Agency of Semarang City before installing the Baulaleg billboard to comply with the regulations in the regional regulation.
"We appreciate friends who want to be legislative candidates, please install them (reglames). But immediately coordinate with Kesbangpol or Semarang City Satpol PP," he said.

Fajar gave an example of the Baulaleg billboards scattered on protocol roads, such as Jalan Soegijapranata and Jalan Madukoro Semarang so that Satpol PP had to be brought under control.
"Everything is in the (path, red.) protocol that is not orderly, yes, we will order it. So, for (way, red.) protocols, I ask not to be installed. Because if we let it, the city's face will be chaotic," he said.
He invited Babileg to use official billboards available at a number of protocol points by processing permits to the Spatial Planning Service and the Housing and Settlement Areas Service.
"If you really want to install it, you all have billboards, permission from the Disperkim or Distaru. But, don't stick (spandik). There will be time itself later," he said.
Until now, Fajar ensured that the Satpol PP would continue to comb the protocol roads to ensure that there were no banners or wild billboards installed for violating the regional regulation.
"We have coordinated with Kesbangpol regarding the installation of billboards. Because the duties of friends at the Satpol PP are up to 24 hours so that the city is clean and comfortable," he concluded.
