X Launches Its Ad Revenue Sharing Program For Creator Content Globally, Check Terms!

JAKARTA - Twitter's rebranding platform, X announced the Ad Revenue Distribution program now available for content creators globally.

According to owner X, Elon Musk in his Tweet explained, the program will distribute $5 million in the first round of creator payments.

The funds will be accumulated from February 2023 onwards. However, this program is only available for eligible creators.

"We want X to be the best place on the internet to make a living as a creator and this is our first step to reward your business," tweet X.

It is known earlier this month, X had shared ad revenue with verified creators in an effort to maintain the best talent on its platform.

Some of the creators posted posts stating they received large payments as a result, ranging from five to six points.

To qualify, users X must subscribe to Twitter Blue or a verified organization and must have had at least 15 million views on its posts in the last three months.

Users must also go through human review for Creator Monetization Standards. Meanwhile, payments from Twitter will be sent to creators via the Stripe platform.

Then, if it is officially monetized, the creators can get money from the advertisements that appear in a Tweet reply. They must also have at least 500 followers, as quoted by TechCrunch, Saturday, July 29.
