Nicke Widyawati Responds To Ahok's Replacement Of His Position At Pertamina: That's The Authority Of Shareholders

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pertamina (Perserpo) Nicke Widyawati opened her voice about the issue of reshuffle of the directors of PT Pertamina (Persero).

Including the issue of Basuki Tjahja Purnama alias Ahok being the President Director of Pertamina.

Nicke said that the change of president director is the authority of Pertamina's shareholders.

"That's the shareholder's authority, so in this case I'm not in the capacity to talk," said Nicke briefly when met by the media, Tuesday, July 25.

Previously, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir admitted that the reshuffle of the management of state-owned companies in the oil and gas sector could have occurred.

However, he could not confirm whether there was a change of position, because there was no decision.

"I think the tour of duty (change of position) could happen. But I can't confirm that there has been a decision yet," he told reporters at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Friday, July 21.

Erick emphasized that until now there has been no decision to reshuffle Pertamina's directors.

Including the appointment of a new name for the position of President Director and President Commissioner. "Until today not," he said.

In addition, Erick also mentioned his meeting with Pertamina President Commissioner Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati.

He said the summons of the two were not to discuss the replacement.
