BNPB Says Forest And Land Fires In 2 Regencies Of Central Java Region Have Been Extinguished
JATENG - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reported that the forest and land fires (karhutla) that hit Sragen Regency and Klaten Regency in Central Java (Central Java) have been successfully extinguished. Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center Abdul Muhari said the blackout was carried out by the local Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) team. "BPBD made efforts to extinguish the ground, and the current conditions were reported that the fire was successfully extinguished," Abdul said in his statement, Wednesday, July 19. Abdul said that the forest and land fires incident that hit the two areas occurred on Tuesday, July 18. His party recorded at least three hectares of identity and rubber land in Kedawung District, Sragen Regency as well as two hectares of land in Pedan, Delanggu, and Prambanan, Klaten Regency caught fire in this incident. "There were no casualties as a result of this incident," he said.
