Meta Verified Finally Comes To Indonesia, Instagram And Facebook Users Can Have Blue Ticks
JAKARTA - After being tested in two countries, Meta Verified finally launched in Indonesia. This exactly Twitter service requires company-owned social media users to pay if they want their profile to get a verification badge or a blue tick.
Through his LinkedIn account, Managing Director of Meta Indonesia, Pieter Lydian announced that Meta Verified is available and can be purchased directly for Indonesian Instagram or Facebook users.
"I am happy to say that Meta Verified is now available and can be purchased directly via Instagram or Facebook in Indonesia," Pieter said.
Users who want to use this service, Pieter said they can buy monthly subscription packages for IDR 100,000 through the website and IDR 130,000 through the iOS and Android applications.
Furthermore, Pieter also explained various advantages for users who subscribe to Meta Verified. Where Instagram and Facebook user accounts will be automatically verified with a blue tick badge.
"This verified disaster confirms that you are the real you and that your account has been authenticated with the government ID," Pieter said.
Users will also get extra protection from accounts claiming to be them. Where Meta will proactively monitor accounts for imitators who may target people with online audiences continuing to grow.
Finally, users who subscribe to Meta Verified will also get direct access to customer support as well as exclusive sticker features, which can be used to express themselves.

1. A minimum age of 18 years.
2. Have a public or personal profile associated with your full name, according to the naming standards, and have a profile photo that features your face.
3. Enable the authentication of two factors that may be completed after payment.

Currently, only individual profiles are eligible for Meta Verified subscriptions, and only support the real name on the profile. Once the profile is verified, users cannot change their name, profile name, date of birth, or photo on the profile without going through the verification process from Meta again.
