Armed With Cloud Computing And Soft Skills, Alumni Rises Success In IT
JAKARTA - Currently, the popularity of cloud computing is growing rapidly because it offers various conveniences such as flexibility, efficiency, and security.
The high demand for this technology has finally prompted Elsa Shafira Ramadhani and I Putu Cahya Adi Ganesha to choose cloud computing as an interdisciplinary learning route when joining the Bangkit program.
When studying more deeply, I realized that cloud computing has been in our daily lives for a long time. It's as simple as sharing files via Google Drive, online meetings, to collecting college assignments that are done in one application so that they can be easily collected. The use of cloud computing in the world of work is even more sophisticated and makes me want to pursue this technology more and more, "explained Elsa.
Elsa added that in the Bangkit program, she also studied the basics of cloud computing to implement applications, monitor operations, and manage company solutions with this specialization.
"Including Google Cloud Computing Foundations, Google Cloud Engineer Learning Path, ACE Certification Preparation, and others. Not only that, we are also greatly helped by soft skill training such as English and Time Management," he added.
The 23-year-old girl from Bogor is now working as an Associate System Engineer at DELL Technologies, who is responsible for the data center to help potential customers get products according to their needs.

On the other hand, Cahya chose the cloud computing route because he realized that his utilization had increased dramatically, both in terms of business or company and private, which was later linked to ease of access to qualified technology and of course cloud reliability.
"I see cloud computing as an evolution of the job descent system administration or IT Infrastructure engineer, whose employment opportunities are still very limited. The development of this technology will certainly open up even greater opportunities in Indonesia," said Cahya.
After successfully completing his work in Bangkit, Cahya took the Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) certification and applied for an internship at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia.
After undergoing a series of recruitment processes, Cahya was finally accepted as IT Infrastructure VE Intern. He is responsible for implementing and maintaining the IT system.
Bangkit is a collaboration program with founding partners, namely the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, GoTo and Traveloka to help Indonesia score reliable digital talents.
Introduced in 2020, Bangkit offers three learning pathway options, namely Machine Learning, Mobile Development and Cloud Computing. More complete information about Rise can be seen here.
