The Builder In Semarang Who Was Buried By The Imbas Landslide Was Working On The Talud When The Rain Was Successfully Evacuated
The joint SAR team evacuated a victim who died from a landslide behind a shop complex on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Purwoyoso, Semarang City, Friday 7 July.
Deputy Company Commander 3 Battalion A Pioneer Brimob Pasadena, Iptu EP Ady Hartanto said the victim was on behalf of Subur (45), a construction worker who was working on the construction of the talud behind the shopping complex.
According to him, it took about 2.5 hours to evacuate the bodies of the victims buried in the soil.
He said the joint officers had difficulty evacuating the victim, because the victim's legs were pinched and the location was narrow.

At that time, he continued, the victim was continuing the work that had been done the previous day.
"The victim and his partner were dredging the land behind the shop, continuing their work the day before," he said in Semarang, Friday, July 7, which was confiscated by Antara.
Temporary suspicion, he said, was that the landslide was triggered by rain that flushed the city of Semarang on Thursday, July 6 evening. "There were two who worked, one survived, another was hit by a landslide," he said.
After being evacuated, the victim's body was immediately taken to Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang.
