WIKA Wins IDR 115.9 Billion Contract To Rehabilitate JCC Senayan
JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) won a contract worth IDR 115.9 billion to rehabilitate the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area, Jakarta. The company was appointed by the Ministry of PUPR to work on the project. WIKA targets the JCC rehabilitation project to be completed in August 2023.
President Director of Wijaya Karya (WIKA) Agung Budi Waskito explained that the JCC rehabilitation project is a form of the company's support to provide quality facilities and infrastructure through the PUPR Ministry program. The goal is to make the ASEAN Plus 2023 Summit a success in September.
In this project, continued Agung, WIKA will renovate buildings, improve landscapes, and parking areas for guests who attend such as leaders of Asean countries and Asean speech partner countries.
"Rehabilitation will present the new face of the JCC through a fresher design by introducing Indonesia's cultural wealth in the international arena," Agung said in an official statement, quoted Friday, July 7.
Agung said that the PUPR Ministry's trust in WIKA was the result of the company's success in completing various projects quickly while maintaining quality.

In line with the acquisition of a contract at JCC Senayan amounting to Rp115.9 billion, Agung said, this also added to the acquisition of WIKA's new contract until May 2023, compared to the company's new contract in the previous month of Rp10.48 trillion.
According to Agung, the largest contribution to the sales post came from the EPCC segment followed by contributions from industry, infrastructure and buildings, as well as property realization.
"Meanwhile, in terms of ownership, the majority of WIKA projects come from SOEs and private parties where the largest contribution comes from the construction support industry segment, as well as the government with a monthly progress payment scheme," concluded Agung.
