Toyota Releases Land Cruiser's Latest Generation Teaser With A Retro Touch

JAKARTA - After giving a hint of the latest Land Cruiser attendance last June, Toyota continued by releasing images from the latest generation of the three-line SUV.

The image, posted back on the Toyota USA website on Thursday, July 6, shows the latest Land Cruiser silhouette standing at the top of a cliff with a beautiful view background.

This latest SUV is shown to be faced with the classic version of the legendary off-road Land Cruiser car, FJ40, which was produced in 1960. In the post, Toyota hinted that the legacy of the 65-year Land Cruiser would continue.

This means that the latest generation of Toyota Land Cruisers will be the model for 2025. From the silhouettes displayed, you can see the body parts of the three-line SUV.

This car is expected to share the design with the company's brother's SUV, the Lexus GX, as a competitor to Kia Telluride. This latest Land Cruiser has a sturdy body with a high ground clearance, so it is able to face off-road conditions.

This car features its strength with a long engine hood line, providing good visibility with a separate front bumper end, in contrast to GX or Highlander which has a unified grip and bumper.

The Toyota Land Cruiser 2025 is expected to adopt a retro theme, mainly due to the presence of this SUV as well as a celebration of the success of the classic Land Cruiser model. There is an interesting element in the back light that combines brake lights, back lights, and sein into one, reminiscent of the J100 Land Cruiser.

Another possibility that will exist on the Land Cruiser 2025 is the Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Damper System (E-KDSS) feature to improve off-road capabilities without reducing reliability on the highway. This feature already exists in the Lexus GX 550.

Previously, Toyota had posted a badge image with the iconic retro theme of the "Land Cruiser" model and added with the caption "Nothing is better than the comeback story. The legend is back." This is a hint that the Land Cruiser 2025 will have a retro touch like the previous classics.
