Kominfo And Kearney Committed To Create Roadmaps For Indonesia's Digital Transformation In Six Sectors

JAKARTA - Establishing a partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo), Kearney, a global consulting firm, is committed to developing a roadmap for digital transformation for six sectors, namely Agriculture, Education, Maritime Affairs, Logistics, Health, and Tourism.

"We are very pleased to partner with Kominfo in this important initiative. Indonesia is ready for significant growth, and digital transformation will be very important in encouraging growth," said Shirley Santoso, Managing Partner in Kearney in a statement received on Tuesday, July 4.

The project is intended to formulate a roadmap strategy for the digital transformation process in Indonesia, by highlighting important areas that are the focus and provide recommendations that can be implemented by Kominfo.

"This roadmap will guide Kominfo to prioritize their efforts and ensure the success of Indonesia's digital future," said Shirley further.

Shirley added that the digital roadmap is also expected to provide comprehensive plans for each sector, highlighting challenges and opportunities in each industry, as well as strategic recommendations on policies, infrastructure, and innovation.

For example, in the e-government transformation system and efforts to digitize public services, Kominfo transformed 2,700 data centers for 630 government institutions into 10-20 National Data Centers (DCN). National DCN is expected to act as a centralized data management facility.

"This roadmap will be a very valuable tool to prioritize our efforts and ensure that we are on the right track to achieve our goals. Kominfo is committed to encouraging Indonesia's digital transformation and becoming the leader of the digital economy. We thank our partners for efforts to transform Indonesia." said Rohit Sethi, Principal of Kearney.
